A new version of the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione supercar is to be launched in the next two years, the Alfa company spokesperson announced to reporters this week.
The Alfa Romeo company aims to build a limited number of high performance Alfa Romeo 8C cars. The newer version of the best selling premium automobile would be a rear wheel drive vehicle. The engine would be placed in front. The present Alfa model has a supercharged V8 engine that has a valve train of 4 valves/ cylinder and DOHC. The body of the car is of carbon fiber monocoque. The supercar weighs 1,500 kilograms.
