The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) of the University of Delhi puts greater emphasis on management education compared to business management. The institute offers students a combination of fieldwork, instrumented feedback, and case studies with most of the focus on theories and concepts.

The main aim of the faculty is to let students become curious from an intellectual point of view and have minds that are open to explore new ideas every now and then. The FMS also collaborates with other departments to develop its understanding and views:

Admissions at The Faculty of Management Studies

The candidates for the MBA-Full Time Course are selected via written examinations – the selected candidates are consequently asked to appear for personal interviews and group discussion. The final selection is done on the basis of the candidates’ aggregate performance in the different examinations.

For the MBA HCA and MBA PT programs, the candidates are selected via written examinations. The selected applicants are then asked to come for personal interviews The yearly tuition fee for all the courses at FMS is almost 10,480 every year.

The SC, PH, or ST students have to pay a registration fee of INR 200 and the candidates belonging to other categories have to pay INR 750 for similar purposes.

In case the applicants make payments through demand drafts, the whole process has to be done through a nationalized or scheduled bank and the demand draft has to be credited in favor of The Registrar, University of Delhi.

In the hard copy of the acknowledgment form, the applicants need to provide the following:

  • passport sized color photo
  • impression of left thumb
  • signature

The students can also upload them in the acknowledgment form’s soft copy. Candidates who are from the reserved categories have to provide photocopies of category or caste certificates that have been attested by themselves.
