Manjilas Agro Foods - Overview

Manjilas Agro Foods was established in the year 1959, as a rice vending outlet at Thrissur, the cultural capital of Kerala. The company was set up by the visionary late Sri. M.O. John. He was also the founder general secretary of the association of the business community of Kerala, known as Vyapari Vyavasai Ekopana Samithi. From 1993 to 2000 he was the president of the Thrissur Chamber of Commerce.

Manjilas Agro Foods is an ISO 9002 company and one of the very first of its kind. The company processes nearly 14 different varieties of rice and around 20 different varieties of food products under the reputed brand 'Double Horse'. It has 6 state of the art advanced technological production units and a strong research and development cell, which helps the company to launch a number of innovative products. The brand Double Horse is available throughout United States, Europe, Middle East and India.
