In the present situation, the company is the biggest gas distribution company in the private sector in India. It has more than 2,200 commercial, 170,000 domestic, 650 industrial consumers, and 30,000 automobiles equipped with compressed natural gas powered engines. All the major industrial sectors of the state of Gujarat now demand natural gas as the fuel as it is safe and less harmful to the environment.

- Gujarat gas trading company Limited: It is a fully owned subsidiary of the company. It engages in dealing with the industrial consumers for the bulk selling of natural gas.
- Gujarat gas financial services limited: It was established in the year 1994. The main purpose of setting up of this subsidiary was to cater to the financial need of the consumers who are willing to change over to natural gas consumption. The subsidiary also offers financial assistance to the household consumers for natural gas connection.
