Steel Authority of India chairman Mr. S.K. Roongta said that it has posted Q4 net profit Rs.1902 crore – up 72%, for the quarter ended 31st March, 2007. Moreover, it has recorded an all-time high annual turnover of Rs. 39189 crore - up 21%, for year ended 31st March, 2007. Furthermore, it has also recoded highest-ever annual PBT of Rs. 9423 crore- up 65%; annual PAT at Rs. 6202 crore - up 55%, for year ended 31st March, 2007.
