Rural Business Hub Initiative in Karnataka has been set up so that it would bring about the development of the rural areas of the state. The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Ministry of Panchayati Raj have established RBH in Karnataka.

The Initiative of Rural Business Hub in Karnataka is based on the Thai model that is called One-Tambon- One Product (OTOP).
