Field operations Division (FOD)- The FOD division is engaged in updating the Urban Frame Survey Blocks, data collection through various sources as Price collection surveys, Annual Survey of Industries, training NSSO employees, offering technical suggestion for up gradation of crop statistics and so on.

National Accounts Division (NAD)- The division provides data with regard to GDP at current prices GDP Implicit Price index, Production Index with regard to Index of Industrial Production and Consumer Price index and makes comparative analysis of the new data with the previous data.

Central Statistical Organization (CSO)- The organization performs significant operations like conduction of Economic Censuses, Compilation of Human Development Statistics, Consumer Price Indices for Urban Non-Manual Employees, Development of Statistics in the states and so on.

Computer Center- The center is involved in processing and preservation of data, and offers training on EDP, engages in the overall creation and maintenance of websites and keeps a record of the telephone numbers of the officials.

National Statistical Organization (NSC)- develops statistical concepts, classifications, and policies with regard to the statistical system, setting up of committees to aid the organization in technical issues, development of advanced methods for collection, analysis and publication of core statistics and so on.

D. NSSO section, Mr. Subhash Chandra is the joint director of the training department, Mr.S.K.
