The HIRCO IPO was issued by Hirco Plc., an international real estate property building company. The HIRCO group is involved in construction of residential and commercial properties across the world. The group has forged ties to develop properties with some of the big players of the Indian markets like Unitech Ltd, K Raheja Corp and West Pioneer Properties Ltd. The HIRCO IPO has revolutionized the inflow of overseas investment in the Indian real estate industry.

The HIRCO IPO was launched by the international property building company called the Hirco Plc. The HIRCO IPO was launched to fund residential township development projects located in Mumbai, Chennai and Jaipur. The issue was launched in the year 2006.

The HIRCO Initial Public Offering was the largest real estate IPO in that year. The HIRCO IPO raised US $ 754 million for the development of real estate property in India. The said issue of HIRCO was launched in London to invest in the rising real estate industry of India. 74 million shares were sold to the institutional investors at 500 pence per share, through the HIRCO IPO. Bear Stearns Cos. and HSBC Holdings Plc. managed the sale of HIRCO IPO. The company also planned to raise an additional 55.5 million pounds through additional sales to meet the increasing market demand.
