Petrol Price Hike in Itanagar 2012

Rising price of petrol in an issue that kept the country bothered this year. The government was unable to find any solution to the problem of rising petrol prices and the masses were enraged because the only authority that could do something in the matter had let its guards loose leaving people alone to combat with this problem along with several others that they already were facing.
The price of petrol in Itanagar on 1st January 2011 was 57.46 rupees. Following a hike of 5 rupees petrol reached 62.46 rupees in the city in May. This was followed by a slight increase of 0.35 rupees in the month of July and people in Itanagar paid 62.81 rupees. Cost of petrol in Itanagar in the month of September was 65.94 rupees. The price surged again in the month of November before finally surprising people with a decline. The price of petrol reached to 67.78 rupees, highest in the year, on 4th November 2011. Price of petrol in Itanagar decreased by 2.22 rupees in November and then it decreased further by 0.78 rupees in the city to cost 64.78 rupees at present.
