International Hospitality Fair - Overview
The Confederate of Indian Industries had organized the International Hospitality Fair (IHF), in October 2007, at the permanent fair ground, Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. This fair is a global demonstration pertaining to the hospitality related services. It was the first of its kind in India. The fair exhibited some of the best foods and beverages across the world, best food services, catering services, several hospitality equipments, interiors, furnishings, fixtures, bakery, latest innovations in the hospitality sector, etc. The International Hospitality Fair (IHF) is a biennial event.
International Hospitality Fair - Advantages
The International Hospitality Fair had participation from the leading players in the hospitality sector, food and beverages manufacturers and suppliers from different countries.The Commonwealth games would be held in New Delhi in the 2010 and this fair served as an important platform for several companies to establish a base for the event. This fair provided the hospitality and food industry a unique window of exposure. The food industry in India is performing extremely well by maintaining a steady growth rate and creating quite a demand in the global market. These kinds of fairs would help it growth further. The fair provided glimpses into the hospitality sector, as a wide variety of different products were exhibited under one roof.
