Sterling Foods started its operations in 1970 and was founded by the Late Mr. Stanley C. David. Sterling Foods is engaged in the business of exporting various kinds of seafood such as shrimp, reef cod, cuttlefish and mackerel. The company has become one of the leading companies in India in the sector of frozen foods on the basis of its commitment to reliability, quantity and quality.

Sterling Foods markets its products under the brand names David and Yacht. The company, in order to maintain the superior quality of its products, buys seafood only from their contract fishing vessels.

Further, the processing plants of Sterling Foods are temperature controlled and flake ice machine is used to chill the products by pure ice. The products of the company are processed according to the strict guidelines of EU and HACCP.

Sterling Foods products have also been approved by the FDA to be exported to USA. The company also has a full fledged laboratory for bacteriological analysis and the workforce is highly skilled. All these steps that have been taken by Sterling Foods have ensured that its products are of very high quality. The managing partners of Sterling Foods are Mr. Vinil David and Mr. Sundeep David.
