Incorporated as a Public Limited company in the year 1985 by Mr. K.S.Sarma, a chemical engineer and entrepreneur of repute, Jupiter Bioscience Ltd is one of the most important pharmaceutical companies in India today. Initially started off as a small scale company this company grew to establish its name in the pharmaceutical industry in India under the continuous guidance of its owner for three decades.

Managed by a team of specialists and professionals from the field of management and pharmaceuticals this company has come a long way since its inception. The company pays special attention to research and development despite the constant pressure for investing in manufacturing. With a team of 150 research and development experts Jupiter Bioscience Ltd the company focuses on Peptide Chemistry, Chiral Chemistry, Biotechnology and Organic Chemistry.

With four manufacturing units in India Jupiter Bioscience Ltd boasts of a large product portfolio. The manufacturing unit in Karntaka is engaged in the production of Drug Intermediates and Speciality and Fine Chemicals. The plant at Cheriyal manufactures Peptide Reagents, Coupling Reagents, Protected Amino Acids and APIs. The Kazipally plant in Andhra Pradesh produces Bulk Drugs, Peptide Raw Materials and Drug Intermediates and the recently set up plant in Hyderabad is into the production of Custom Peptides.
