Krebs Biochemicals & Industries also known as KBIL was founded in the year 1991. This pharmaceutical company was known as Public Limited Company when it first started its operations. The primary aim of the firm was to form biotech procedure which can be commercially feasible and also have relevance to Agriculture and Medicine Industry.

In the year1994, Krebs Biochemicals & Industries became a public company. The company has remained the ace company in fermentation technology in previous years. In addition to the manufacturing of various pharmaceutical formulations, Krebs Biochemicals & Industries is also engaged in research and development, commonly called R&D of ‘genetically engineered products’ formed with the help of biological and synthetic advancements and ‘new bio molecules’. While the products manufactured in Unit 1 of Krebs Biochemicals & Industries are mainly used for creating formulations related to respiratory problems, the Unit 2 of the firm produces fermentation products that are useful in feeds, pharma, food beverages and more. The products manufactured by Krebs Biochemicals & Industries mainly include synthetic and herbal products and intermediates.
