Max India, founded in 1985, is one of India's leading life insurance companies covering risks against individual and family life. Starting as a telecom enterprise, Max today deals with life insurance and health care products. Max India restructured itself and at present it has established a wide network all over the nation with an efficient management and well trained executives.

Activities

Max India is organized into:

• Health care (Max Healthcare) – this is the local business of Max India.
• Life Insurance (Max New York Life Insurance) – this have reached the national level.
• Clinical Studies (Neeman Medical International) – this segment of Max India is international in its scope.

However apart from their core business, Max India also operates on manufacturing driven traditional businesses like the Max Specialty Products, dealing with the specialty plastic products for the packaging industry and Max Health Staff, dealing with health care staffing.

Performance

Max Health care provides excellent medical services,patient care, scientific knowledge, medical education and has established a health care delivery system at all levels. Nearly over 600 doctors are there to cater a patient base of over 250,000 they are aspiring to be the NCR's chief health care provider, with 8 hospitals and 1500 patient beds by 2008. Max Health care hospitals become the first in north India to receive prestigious National Accreditation – NABH, Honorable President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam conferred the honor upon Max Devki Devi Heart & Vascular Institute and Max Super Specialty Hospital on 9th Feb 2007.

Max New York Life Insurance is a joint venture between Max India and New York Life, a Fortune 100 company, offering individual and group life insurance solutions. It offers 28 products and eight riders that can be customized to over 700 combinations. It has 172 offices, additional channel with 22 bank assurance relationships, corporate tie-ups and a strong Direct Sales Team. Moreover, in may, 2007, Max New York Life Insurance has launched its LIFE MAKER TM PREMIUM, a flexible Unit Linked Endowment Plan, offering the investment choice of 100% in equity funds.

The Neeman Medical International (NMI) is an International Clinical Research provider operating across three locations spanning North America, Asia and Latin America.
