Hindalco produces wire rod from its Renukoot plant, located in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Started its journey in 1962, Renukoot plant is a major plant of Hindalco producing various products including aluminium smelter, alumina and others. Currently it has a wire rod production capacity of 250,000 tpa.
Bharat Aluminium Company Ltd (Balco)
Bharat Aluminium Company Ltd produces wire rod from its Korba plant, located in the state of Chhattisgarh. It has a production capacity of 43,200 tpa.
National Aluminium Company Ltd (Nalco)
National Aluminium Company Ltd. (Nalco) produces wire rod through its Angul plant, located in the state of Orissa. It has a wire rod production capacity of 43,200 tpa.
Madras Aluminium Company Ltd (Malco)
Madras Aluminium Company Ltd (Malco) has its wire rod plant located in Mettur in Tamil Nadu. It has a wire rod production capacity of 32,850 tpa.
