Indian agriculture industry has plenty of expectations from the forthcoming 2010 budget. Many people complain that agriculture often remains neglected in the Union Budget of India comparing to other industries in the country. Hence the Indian agriculture industry expects that the government would give due importance to this sector in the forthcoming budget. The present inflation hasn’t also helped the cause either. The prices of the daily commodity as well as the prices of vegetables, onions, potatoes, and various crops are also soaring high day by day. The whole country badly needs to bring those down and this is one of the major expectations of agriculture industry from 2010 budget.

Many have also vouched for reducing the taxes for fertilizers and other agriculture products. Government also needs to take proper steps to boost up the agriculture industry. The conversion of agricultural lands to non-agricultural land for the use of other purposes has to be stopped.

i am expecting cut in prices of essential commodities , health sector getting expensive, construction materials just going up because of these commodity trading of the most important the government should seriously look into agriculture sector which is highly neglected as there is no one to lobby for things nor is an orginised sector see agriculture as more important

Reduction in IT rates and increase in the exemption level and abolish perquisite tax. Widen the tax network by including the all businessmen and big agriculturists, who are presently out of this block. Follow Chanakya\'s economic principle by harming none while taxing like the honeybee extracts nector from flowers without damaging its structure and beauty.
