Tata Motors manufacturing plants are located at -
- Jamshedpur - this plant was established in 1945. It spreads over an area of 822 acres. It manufactures trucks, engines, etc.
- Pune - this plant was established in 1966. It spreads over an area of 930 acres. It houses the company's production engineering division.
- Lucknow - this plant was established in 1992 and is the latest manufacturing plant of the TATA Group. It manufactures commercial vehicles.
- Uttarakhand - this plant will soon start production of Tata Motors' mini-truck, Ace.
The company is expanding its manufacturing capabilities at West Bengal for its Rs. 1 lakh car
Performance of TATA Motors:
Its revenue stands at Rs 32,426 crore for the year ended 31st March, 2007.
