Mercedes SUV to be launched

Mercedes-Benz has just unveiled its latest automotive offering-the GLK. The company has stated that the car would be available in European and North American car markets by 2011.

The Mercedes GLK is a driver's delight. The windscreen is upright and is at a 50°angle. This makes driving easier. Passenger seating is generous. The luggage department holds 450 liters of space. Engine is a 224 bhp 3.0 liter common rail diesel. The weight of the vehicle is 1880 kilograms.

The Mercedes GLK can attain a top speed of 137 miles per hour. The SUV takes about 7.5 seconds to reach 62mph from starting point. The excellent spring system ensures a comfortable long ride on the highway as well as off the road.
