After the setback by the recent recession, the Indian automobile industry has already started rising up. The month of September 2009 saw a growth of 9.6% in automobile sales, whereas the sales grew up by 40.3% during December 2009. With this growing phase of Indian automobile industry, a number of companies are also going to launch new cars in India in 2010. The new car launches in India in 2010 will include the launch of small, Sedan or big family cars.
Auto Expo, an automobile exhibition held every year in New Delhi, is the place where most of the automobile manufacturers in India love to launch their new car models and display those to the Indian auto-lovers. This year, the 10th Auto Expo is scheduled to be held from 5th to 11th January 2010 at Pragati Maidan. Many auto manufacturers consider this event a perfect occasion to launch new cars.

Hyundai i30 is going to be the one of the most popular new car launches in India in 2010. After the awe-inspiring success of i-series (i10 & i20) in the Indian automobile market, Hyundai is going to introduce i30 in the first quarter of 2010. It'll have a fuel efficient engine with both variants – petrol and diesel. The sleek and trendy design of Hyundai i30 will also come with a range of features and optimal comfort.
Fiat Bravo
Fiat Bravo, a sedan-sized hatchback, is expected to be launched in the Indian auto market by 2010 end. Bravo will have 1.9L multi-jet engine with 148 bhp.
Mahindra Renault Sandero
Mahindra Renault Sandero is expected to hit the Indian roads in the early 2010. This 4 meter long car will have the space for 5 passengers with a provision to fit child seat in the rear. There will be two variants of Sandero, viz. 1.2L petrol and 1.5 L diesel engine.
Fiat Palio CNG
The Fiat is going to launch its Palio CNG version in the first quarter of 2010. Fiat Palio is already available in petrol and diesel variants, but it is for the first time that the CNG version is hitting the Indian roads.
Ford Figo
Ford Figo is scheduled to be launched in Indian auto market in February 2010. It will come with 1.2 L petrol engine with 75 bhp.
Nissan Micra
‘Micra’, the new small car from Nissan is going to hit the Indian roads this year. The car will be manufactured in the Chennai plant of the company.
Toyota EFC / Yaris
Yaris will be the entry level family car from the auto giant Toyota. It will have 1.2L petrol engine
