Indore Development Authority incorporated in the year 1973 was earlier known as the City Improvement Trust. The Indore Development Authority undertook the responsibility to provide the city of Indore with decent residential areas. However, it should be noted that the Indore Development Authority also gave utmost importance to the development and improvement of the basic infrastructural facilities like banks, business offices, recreational areas, as well as roads and bridges.
