Patni Computer Systems acquired Logan-Orviss International (LOI) a leading Europe based telecommunication consulting service provider through its wholly owned subsidy Patni Computer Systems (UK) Ltd. US-based Taratec Development Corp was acquired by Patni Computer Systems Inc in July 2007. Another company ZAiQ Technologies was acquired by Patni in the year 2006. This acquirement enabled the company to provide application specific integrated circuit design capabilities and intellectual property capabilities to clients. Companies like Cymbal Corporation and The Reference Inc were acquired in the year 2004 and 2003 respectively. The Reference Inc was the first company to be acquired by Patni Computer Systems.
