Adlabs Films is India's biggest entertainment conglomerate. Adlabs Films is a film processing laboratory for motion pictures. Adlabs Films was set up in 1978 by Manmohan Shetty and Vasanji Mamania.

Adlabs Films started out as a small scale film processing unit primarily catering to ad films. It entered the arena of mainstream cinema processing in 1989. This marked the beginning of an illustrious run for this unique business venture
As per industry estimates, presently Adlabs Films processes about 70 percent of the Indian films produced in Hindi.
Adlabs Films covers different spheres of activity in the Indian entertainment industry starting from production, processing to distribution.
Adlabs Films has also pioneered the multiplex concept in India. It has also given the movie making business in India a corporate face.
The year 2006 marked Adlabs' foray into television. Adlabs became majority stakeholders in Synergy Communications (owned by Siddhartha Basu). In its new 'avatar' Synergy Adlabs is tapping India's popular television industry like never before.
It may be noted that, year 2005 has been a watershed year for Adlabs Films. Reliance ADAG entered the company as majority promoter shareholders in June 2005. After this the combined market capitalization of Adlabs surged ahead over one lakh crores.
