Sanghi Industries Limited, formerly known as Sanghi Leathers Pvt. Ltd, was formed in the year 1985. The company was initially established with the aim for manufacturing PVC Foam Leather cloth. Thereafter, it had extended its production process to items like PVC self adhesive tapes, tarpaulins, and cements.
The cement plant at Sanghipuram, Gujarat, has a production capacity of 2.6 million tonnes per annum. The plants uses process control equipment from Switzerland. Its clinker and cement products have been a major success both in domestic as well as international markets.
Sanghi Industries exports 50 percent of its expertise to Bangladesh, West Asia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and other neighboring countries. The other 50 percent of the cement produce goes to India's southern and western coastal markets. Expert infrastructural developments have been the key to Sanghi Industries production growth.
These include limestone reserves; fully automated FLS technology plant of 3.3 mtpa; clay/silica sand mines; laterite mines; heavy-duty kiln; highly durable jetty; furnace oil based DG sets at power plants; and Israel technology based Desalination Plant. Sanghi Industries has received certifications of OHSAS ISO, ISO 9000, and ISO 14001.

The Market of
Sanghi Industries spreads over a network of 1400 dealers, 45 customer care centers and 43 mobile concrete testing laboratories. In the year 2006, the company saw a cement production of 1.83 million tones, while in 2007; it has reached 2.41 million tonnes.
