Social and Rural Development Work
Ballarpur Industries supported rural communities through its farm forestry programme. Under this programme, farmers planted trees used for paper production. This activity provided farmers with an additional source of income.
The programme involved thousands of farmers in different regions of India and helped increase tree plantation on private land.
