Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Co. (GNFC) is one of the leading companies in the fertilizer industry in India. It started manufacturing fertilizers by setting up a Urea-Ammonia fertilizer complex in 1982.

In 2004-2005, the Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Co. Ltd produced 504,485 MT of Ammonia, 637,533 MT of Urea, 13, 079 MT of Formic Acid, and 135,020 MT of Acetic Acid. The total profit of the company in 2005- 2006, amounted to Rs 263.3 million which was an increase of around 28.6% in comparison to the previous year.
