ATN International Limited is a leading Indian company engaged mainly in the sector of Investment Banking and Satellite TV Channel. Incorporated in 1983 as "Arihant Consultants Private Limited", it became a public limited company in the year 1997.
Though initially registered under the Registrar of Companies at Delhi & Haryana, it later transferred its registered office to Kolkata. Subsequently, it changed its name to “Arihant Credit Capital”. It again changed its name to “ATN Arihant International Ltd.” before finally getting its new name “ATN International Limited”.
It was the year 1994 when ATN International Limited, in an attempt to garner resources for widening its capital base, went public. Currently ATN International Limited is listed at NSE, BSE and CSE. It has a share capital of ` 40 crore and paid-up capital of ` 39.45 crore.
In 1994, ATN International Limited was entitled as ‘Category-I Merchant Banker’ by SEBI. In the later years, the company successfully acted as lead manager to manage over 20 public / rights issues. It also acted as co-manager for a number of issues.
In 1994-95, ATN International Ltd. commissioned a wind power plant in Kayathar, Tamil Nadu.
