Modi Revlon is a 74% and 26% partnership between the Modi Mundi Pharma of India and Revlon of United States. Modi Revlon has been engaged in commercial operation since 1994. The international range of color cosmetics was the first product launched by the company in the year 1995. The company has come out with several fashion breakthroughs, which made Revlon one of the leading cosmetic companies in India.

Modi Revlon transformed the concept of beauty in the Indian market. The company offers a wide range of international cosmetics, toiletries, and fragrances. Revlon is known for its superb advertising portraying international celebrities and super models, which is the dream of all the women.

The company follows strict quality standards. Revlon owns a state of the art research and development facility in Edison, New Jersey (USA), which is the source of the all the technical expertise. The products of Modi Revlon in India are manufactured by its fully owned ancillary Kamakhya Cosmetics and Pharmaceuticals, located in Assam.

In the year 2000, Revlon came up with the Street Wear Collection, which was aimed at the urban consumers consisting of upper middle class and upper class, but these were perceived as expensive. The company introduced the strategy of marketing the products in smaller packs, and launched its mini range of nail enamel, lipsticks, and perfumes. It was a success and the sales were increased by around 50 %. The company owns about 20-25 % domestic color cosmetic market share.
