History
Karnataka Bank was established on 18th February, 1924 in Mangalore, Karnataka. The financial institution was founded as part of the flow of the Indian independence movement. The bank grew in stature with the merger of 3 banks: Chitradurga Bank, Bank of Karnataka and Sringeri Sharada Bank Ltd with itself.
