History

Punjab & Sind Bank was set up by 3 persons: Sir Sunder Singh Majitha, Sardar Tarlochan Singh, and Bhai Vir Singh. The bank was set up in 1908. The bank was founded on the principle of helping the weaker section of Indian society.

Banking Services

Punjab & Sind Bank offers to its valued customers a number of services that include: Credit Cards: The Credit Card facility is given with co-operation from ICICI Bank. The cards are of 3 varieties: Blue Card, Silver Card, and Gold Card. Salaried persons as well as self employed individuals may apply for a Punjab & Sind Bank Credit Card.

PSB e-Funds Transfer: This facility is available at all branches of the bank.

Locker Facilities: Punjab & Sind Bank offers its customers the facility of hiring lockers for storing valuables for a predetermined specific period of time. The size of lockers varies from small to extra large.

RTGS or NEFT: Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) facility helps Punjab & Sind Bank customers to transfer funds to other banks. This facility is available from 9am to 3pm on weekdays in select branches. The National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT) of Punjab & Sind Bank is an efficient and secure way of transfer and clearing of funds within India.
