SRF's products and its uses are -
Nylon Tire Cord Fabric - This is used as reinforcement of tires for bicycles, heavy commercial vehicles, and airplanes.
Belting Fabrics - This is the 5th largest producer of conveyor belting fabrics in the world and these products are used by mining and utility companies.
Coated Fabrics - These are used in products like awnings, tarpaulins, and canopies that are used as covers for trucks and jeeps as covers for playgrounds. Sports kits are also manufactured by such material. It is also used as decorative covers during traditional wedding parties.
Chemicals Business - Producer of refrigerant gases and caters to different needs like, heavy industry, commercial and household purposes. These gases are used for refrigeration and air conditioning both for industrial and domestic use. Further, these gases are also used as solvent and propellant in metered dose inhalers for treating disease like asthma. Furthermore, its products are also used as raw material (TEFLON) for making non-stick kitchenware.
Pharma Chemicals Business - manufactures pharmaceutical intermediates. Packaging Films Business - manufactures Biaxially Oriented Poly Ethylene Terephthalate (BOPET) or polyester (PET) film. They are generally used in flexible packaging. They are largely used for packaging of variety of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) like soaps, detergents, tea, shampoo sachets, packaged food stuffs etc.
