With more liberalized norms and rules by the Government, more and more top companies saw the business scenario getting better.

Scenario of Indian Companies
India has seen great increase in wealth creation over the years. In the latest of Forber’s report we see that India now has about 229 billionaires in 2026 which is up from just 52 in 2009. This is very much a testimony to how in the past decade Indian companies and business leaders have grown.
India today is a very fast growing wealth market in the world. We see this growth in strong stock market, new company issues, and in improved business earnings. In 2026 Indian billionaire wealth passed the $1 trillion mark which is a large scale increase from what we have seen in past years. That also reflects the overall better performance of Indian companies in various sectors.
Top companies in India have been seeing a mixed but positive trend in recent reports. Out of a few poor performing quarters we have seen many which did report better than expected results. In the 2026 fiscal year we see that 51% of large companies did better than what was expected and also we expect a growth of nearly 15% in overall corporate earnings. This is a sign that Indian companies are gradually getting back to a stable growth trend.
In terms of all sectors the IT sector still does play a key role but we see that its growth has slowed down from what we have seen in earlier years. The Indian IT industry which continues to put out a large number of jobs and is a key component of our economy. Also in 2025-2026 the sector is reporting some pressure from the global economic slowdown and reduced international client spending. At the same time we are seeing fields like artificial intelligence, digital services, and cloud technology which are present new opportunities. Overall the IT sector is still a great choice career wise but we are seeing growth which is more balanced out instead of very rapid.
